A call or coffee to talk through your day, your venue and the landscape around it — this is where the shape of your film starts.
I can arrange to capture footage for you in the run up to, or even after the wedding – you are not restricted to a set day, or a set location. And it’s worth noting that our entry level package is a premium one.
Sit back, enjoy a coffee, or a glass of fizz if you prefer, and relax knowing everything you expect to be included is going to be included.
Planning your wedding shots
For venues with real scope — lochside, coastal, hilltop — we talk through where aerial footage adds something real, not just spectacle for its own sake.
For everything else, it’s your call – want to ditch the wedding dress reveal, no worries. Fancy setting up a dance routine with the bridesmaids, no problem.
On the day
For candid shots, I’ll work quietly and discreetly to achieve natural emotion on film – the goal is to show it as it happened.
There will be a few set pieces I will art direct with you, for example, a bouquet toss, a reveal, a kiss – these will be pre-arranged so there are no surprises.
Some couples don’t want added stress on the day – if that is you, we can arrange a pre-wedding shoot for dress try-ons, and groom get-ready sessions . And for anything else you want to see in your film but not shoot on the wedding day itself.
The finished film
Every film is cut by me personally, with the same attention to pacing and colour that goes into my commercial studio work.
When your edits are ready, we’ll always give you a 60-90 second cut for socials and a standard 3 minute highlights video.
